An affordable tasting allows you to sip 6 different wines, but if you really want to understand what makes this Illinois winery so special, you should book a winery tour. "Had a great lunch with a tasting and a tour. Made reservations in advance, they were very accommodating. A wedding was rescheduled to the day of our reservation but because it was later in the day we were still able to come. The food and wine were great, Vito was a great host. His help with the tasting was much appreciated and I found a new favorite wine. The tour was short but full of history, I highly recommend doing the tour with Vito. He and his family are great and I look forward to their winery's future endeavors!"

"We had a fantastic time at Acquaviva. How did we not know this winery was here for so long?! The building and surrounding grounds are beautiful. It's amazing they grow all their own grapes on site. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun. We learned so much new information about the wine making process. I loved that the wine tastings were given at different spots throughout the tour and we could sip as we walked around. You don't usually find great reds at Great Lakes wineries, but they had several reds and whites that we enjoyed. We'll definitely be back and we can't wait to try out their restaurant too!"
